SHAZAM tutorial - the DEMO command

An online tutorial is available by typing DEMO. The DEMO command automatically loads the Theil textile data set. You can then do any of the following:

• Follow the instructions as they appear.
  
  
• Experiment with the textile data set by typing any SHAZAM command (the READ command is not allowed).
  
  
• Continue with the tutorial by typing the command: DEMO
  
  
• Restart the tutorial at any time by typing the command: DEMO START
  
  
• Exit completely by typing: STOP

On-line HELP

A complete list of options that are available on SHAZAM commands can be obtained by on-line help. For on-line help type the command HELP. This will display a summary list of SHAZAM commands. To obtain help on a specific command use the command format:

HELP command_name

For example, to obtain a list of options that are available with the OLS command type:

HELP OLS
