	Obs:   17 years  (1949 - 1965)

    QB = per capita consumption of beef in year t (pounds),
    PB = price of beef in year t (pence per pound),
    PL = price of lamb in year t (pence per pound),
    PP = price of pork in year t (pence per pound), and
    IN = per capita disposable income in year t (Australian currency pounds).

   Data are from Australia with all prices and income deflated with 1953 as the base year.

               This dissertation was written in 1966, before Australia had converted 
               to decimal currency and before kilograms replaced pounds as a measure of
               weight.
