The discounted SHAZAM Academic License is a FULL license and offers students the same technical features as any
other SHAZAM license of the same edition i.e. there are no time or feature restrictions placed within the software.

VERIFYING YOUR STUDENT STATUS
Before you start, make sure your identification is listed below in
Acceptable Forms of Student Identification
Step 1
Register or Log in to your SHAZAM Account and add a Single Academic License to your shopping cart.
You will not be able to Checkout and complete your purchase until your student status has been verified by us.
Step 2
Scan your academic identification and save the file as a .PDF, .JPG or .GIF file. These are the only accepted formats. All forms of verification must be clearly legible and at a minimum, true to size.
Step 3
Email your scanned academic identification to:
from the email address you used to register your SHAZAM Account. Once we have verified your student status we will email you back and enable you to complete your SHAZAM Store Checkout and purchase a discounted SHAZAM Academic License.
Student Requirements
Proof of current enrollment, stating your name, the institution name, and the current date or term.
Types of proof of enrollment include:
- School ID card (showing you registered as a student for the current year)
- Report card
- Transcript
- Tuition bill or statement
- Any other document issued by the educational institution that includes your name, the institution name, and the current date or term
Note: Any sensitive information such as pay amounts, grades, or social security numbers can be covered or crossed out.
Homeschooled students and their teachers
Types of proof of enrollment include:
- Dated copy of a letter of intent to homeschool
- Current membership ID to a home school association
- Dated proof of purchase of curriculum for the current academic school year
